Promotional products can be an extremely effective tool to help promote a product, service or company or organization and can include advertising specialties, premiums, incentives, business gifts, awards, prizes, commemoratives and other imprinted or decorated items.
Promotional products are valuable because they’re tangible, long lasting and easily measured. They also have a high perceived value, they compliment other media and they can be highly targetable.
In a 2009 consumer survey, 91% of respondents had at least one promotional in their kitchen and 74% said that had one in their work area. 55 percent of the people claimed to have at least one promotional product in their bedroom, closet or storage space.
Over half of the survey participants said they keep their promotional products for at least a year and 73% of participants said that they used that product at least once a week and 45% used promotional products at least once a day.
As someone who used to buy a lot of traditional media, I can’t think of any medium that offers a lower cost per impression than promotional products.
